Ms. Scholl's personal and scholarly interests in multiple intelligences
and the use of shifting focus to expand awareness led her to study
indigenous wisdom as a means to navigate between the familiar and
the subtle. It has taught her to reconnect with nature, and enabled
her to think and see differently in order to live a more creative
and conscious life. During the last four years she has apprenticed
with several Peruvian shamans, including Don Ignacio Duri. As a
result of their work together, Don Ignacio has granted her permission
to record his story before he dies so that it may be repeated to
others, remembered and relived.
